La Paz Baja California Sur

La Paz was racing again :). We had two eventful days in the city with the 15th edition of the “Dos Mares 500″ 2008 desert race. As the name says it the race track layout is designed so that the Pacific Coast and also the Sea of Cortez have some race visitors at one event.
Friday evening was the race vehicle inspection and lots of music and fiesta followed by the “fake” start at the Malecon on Saturday. Don’t let that “fake” fool you - the race drivers do all to give the spectators a good show - so plenty of rubber burning and going out “wide open”!
