La Paz Baja California Sur

..a Freudian slip kinda. Spass is the german word fun or joke. So that it is a Grand Baja joke?? Well, if I look at the prices I think so. The official information states:

The impressive building (!!! -> see pics below) that was once the Gran Baja Hotel is currently being transformed into the Grand Baja Hotel & Spa, a complete and total renovation of a former hotel into 123 one, two, and three-bedroom luxury view (…must be the view to El Mogote with more luxury, expensive stuff) condominiums units priced from the low$200,000's up to $400,000 USD (low?? Gimmi a break, for 200 grand I could build a 5 bedroom house and still have plenty of change in my pocket). Alongside the original building will be two new towers with even more units( must be at the Hacienda del Cortez lot). The beach front location on a very large site will include tennis courts, swimming pools, beachfront activities ( I guess the mobile vendors), and a Spa. The developer from Mexico City purchased the site last year. Reservations are currently being taken for units in this complex."

Another "oh well!" remark by me ( would you like to know…) and the final for this post:  One man's treasure is another man's junk! Junk huh?? Almost rhymes with joke…..

 

 

 

 

That building is right next to it. Wonder if it will also be rebuilt…. Looks like a historical building to me. circa 70's, flower-power and some LSD for the architect!
