One of the most like races at Baja Sur – many racers rate it even higher as the Dos Mares 500 – is about to start this coming weekend with the usual pre-race events at the Malecon the evening before the race. La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur is well known for its off road races and the Coyote 300 is one of them, with start and finish in the outskirts of La Paz. Off Road Racing in La Paz or better yet, at Baja Sur is one of its most popular activities.

La Paz is also dubbed the “world capital of off-road racing”!! Way beyond the famous Baja 1000 or Dos Mares 500 races which draw countless spectators from up north, smaller desert racing and closed course racing events are held all year around.
