One of the Off road highlights for La Paz takes place in a few days, the Dos Mares 500, the race planned initially for the first weekend in May. According to the “El Pato Rojo”, a Spanish language baja offroad e-zine, the anticipated spectator count for this race is about 40000 people. The Friday afternoon / evening event including the race vehicle scrutineering is like a giant party – at least the last few years. More information on the Dos Mares 500 by following them link.
