(Information obtained via organizers website).
To participate in events supported by the Mexican Triathlon Federation (FMTRI), a current membership with the Mexican Triathlon Federation is required.
The organizer talks about a 1,000 competitors limit. Maybe a little optimistic considering that 1000 starters are seldom reached at "classic" world-class triathlons like the Hawai IronMan or the Roth Triathlon.
In the mood for triathlon?? Here some video footage from Ironman Cozumel Mexico 2012.The Ironman Cozumel 2012 was a qualifier for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. See Michelle Vesterby from Holland doing the triathlon and see the determination and energy involved to finish such a race.
