Immediate Alert – Alaska adds flights to La Paz effective immediately.(unconfirmed source)

Alaska Airlines announced today that it has expanded it’s service to La Paz! Originally, they had only flown Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Beginning today, they have added service to fly Monday, Wednesday, Thursday Saturday and Sunday, direct from LAX. Clients are taking advantage of this new schedule, so book early because the seats will be sold before we know it.

As we speculated earlier in the year, the flights would increase as we moved into the 2008 / 2009 season. Airlines do not do this unless there is a demand, also as predicted, those Baja travelers who normally vacationed south or north of our capital city, have remembered that La Paz has much to offer for a family vacation. In addition, the costs to vacation in La Paz are much less than other previously sought out areas.

Property values in La Paz are also attracting a great deal of interest as those clients seeking a vacation home and future retirement location, see La Paz as a viable option.
