Lowell is outta here…
Lowell weakens to tropical depression in Pacific. Tropical Storm Lowell has weakened to a tropical depression in the Pacific off the coast of Mexico. The National Hurricane Center in Miami says Lowell’s maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph. Despite weakening, Lowell is expected to move across Mexico’s Baja California peninsula Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Little change in strength is expected before reaching Baja California. Lowell is centered about 190 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California and moving north-northeast near 7 mph.
