I just had a discussion with some fellow internet and web people here in La Paz, I don't want to go too deep into the tech mumbo-jumbo and throw specific data around. It was mainly regarding the use of Flash files or even complete Flash websites as that is still a common practice with many Mexican web developers. And also about web browser and usage on today's internet. I figured it might be interesting to share this with visitors (And who knows - maybe you'll consider our favorite #1 browser and download it for free to test…. Wink )

The majority of internet users stick with what they got when purchasing their system and that is in most cases something with Windows on it. And Windows is a Microsoft product and so is Internet Explorer. IE is a part of the Windows operating system. So if you don't buy Apple or reformat your machine to put Linux on for example you are using IE

Stats on Web Browser usage

We saw a funny statement that reflects our beliefs -   Firefox is like a Swiss Army knife: Versatile and dependable, with many useful tools. Internet Explorer is like really, really, very old Swiss cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

We think Firefox is the browser of the future, way faster than IE (if you not load it with xxx add-ons). Gecko based rules…. Google was smart to take Mozilla Firefox in their program! Go get it - it's free!!
